Very nice place for
a weekend family get away. Beautiful lake with beautiful views of the surrounding landscape.
Great campground for the family (read: little kids included); we try to make it out multiple times a year. We don't fish, so I can't comment on that aspect, but we enjoyed lake swimming! Just remember: the East side is the "family" side and the West side is the "party" side, so make your plans accordingly. We stayed on the East side, site 14, so right on the lake. The East side has the playground and the showers, and because it's the "family" side, it's much more quiet at night. We love it!
The family went for an overnight camping trip. It was a quiet and clean place to camp. Nice setup for campers or tents. Access to water and non-flushable toilets on the West side and the same on the East side but with running water bathrooms. Plenty of nature all around, with swimming boating and fishing available. We will be back.
